User persona?

  • they ask if product is appropriate for certain people
  • interactive design needs persona’s to work cause interaction and people go together
  • quality research from interviews

User Scenario

  • after developing a persona, you need to think of a scenario to explore interactions with problems and how they solve with products
  • design specifics would b used to tailor to the user’s need to make it more easier/efficient for them to use

Artifact Persona

  • create a keyword chart that notes important feelings associate’s with the product

Indeed by using the amount of research here to understand the audience is good, but with the research that  is undertaken though, how much do we really know about the audience themselves. I mean sure we can imagine what a person’s inner mind would look like if we associate  it with this or that or we could go around and pass people personality quizzes to see if there is an overlapping pattern in terms of how they like a product but like simulations done on a computer, you can test as many variables as you want but there is an infinite amount that cannot be graphed, calculated or analysed. The point I’m trying to get across is that do we really understand the people we look into or just that small fragment with the research.
